The 11th Annual Dunlop Santa Gertrudis Sale was held on property in Proston on September 2nd.
A total of 125 high-quality Santa Gertrudis bulls were offered for sale, and all 125 bulls found new homes, resulting in a 100% clearance rate. The total gross from the sale reached $1,591,000, with an average price of $12,728.
The sale drew significant interest from both local and regional cattle enthusiasts, with over 80 people in attendance.
The top price of the sale was achieved by Lot 4, Dunlop T226 (PP), a standout bull that was acquired by Forest Park Santa Gertrudis Stud, Blackall, for an impressive $47,500.00. Following closely was Lot 15, Dunlop T696 (P), which was purchased by Coorumburra Santa Gertrudis Stud for $44,000.00.
