Benelkay

Stud No 810 – Benelkay was registered in 1971 and is located at Mullaley in the Northwest Slopes and plains area of NSW, on a mixed Cattle and Farming property. Benelkay is owned and operated by Andrew and Jules Orman along with our children Sam and Georgie.

The stud’s strengths are based around a female herd of 400 polled classified stud breeders, with over fifty years of breeding behind them. Poll bulls have been exclusively used for over thirty years giving the Benelkay herd a very strong genetic Homozygous (PP) base within the breed.

Breed type, fertility, dark fine haired / skin type, placid temperaments and high weight gaining animals are all high genetic traits within our herd. Breedplan is recorded within the herd but is not solely used as the only tool for selection, as we aim to breed very balanced animals.
