The on-property Santahat bull sale held at Rawbelle, Monto today has cleared 100 per cent of the 40 bulls offered, with lots selling to an average of $16,575 and to a top of $85,000.
Shane Hatton, cousin of Santahat principal Brett Hatton and principal of Diamond H stud, Chinchilla, paid the top money for lot 3, Santahat U445 (AI) (P), a Waco Red Bull son out of a Santahat cow.
The second top price sold at lot 13, Santahat U-Turn U302 (P), a Diamond H Taipan son, was snapped up by stud breeder Scott Dunlop, Dunlop Cattle Co, Proston for $34,000.
Bulk buyers were Farmleigh Grazing Injune 5 hd; TVF Pastoral, Albro, Clermont 4 hd; SJ and JM Hamilton, Eidsvold 4 hd and WH Kettle & Co, Capella 4 hd.
