The 64th Annual Yarrawonga sale held today marked a significant milestone for 2023 so far, as the top-priced bull cracked the six-figure price point. Strong interest ring-side and online made for healthy results.
A total of 176 out of 178 Santa Gertrudis bulls offered were sold, for a 98.8% clearance rate. Among them, 169 were classified, and 7 were commercial bulls.
The gross sale total amounted to $2,233,085 with an average sale price of $12,688.
Lot 4, Yarrawonga T548 (P), secured the top spot with a remarkable sale price of $130,000, finding its new home with Waco Santa Gertrudis.
The second-highest price of $70,000 was achieved by Lot 8, Yarrawonga T114 (P), purchased by Hardigreen Park.
