The Annual Broad Leaf Santa Gertrudis Bull Sale was held at the Rolleston Livestock Complex on the 11th September.
A total of 44 bulls were offered, and of these, 31 bulls were successfully sold, achieving a commendable 70% clearance rate.
The sale grossed a total of $241,000.00, with a solid average price of $7,774.00 per bull.
The top-performing bull, Lot 1, Broad Leaf Trinity T15 (PP) was secured for an impressive $27,000.00 and was purchased by Cargoon Pty Ltd in Clermont.
The second top-priced bull, Lot 16, Broad Leaf Tambo T18 (PP) achieved a price of $13,000.00 and found its new home with Rodney Perrett at Bungawarra Station, Rolleston.
The sale attracted strong interest, with 55 attendees present, and online participation through Elite Livestock added to the competitive atmosphere.
