The 38th Annual Barcoo Santa Breeders Sale was held on October 17 at Blackall Saleyards.
A total of 125 bulls were offered for sale, with 89 bulls sold under the hammer.
The total gross sales reached $573,000, with an average sale price per bull of $6,438.
Lot 34, Drensmaine Kracker K161 (P), secured the top position with a notable sale price of $15,000. He was purchased by Ben Avery.
Lot 45, Drensmaine Kojach K147 (P), achieved the same top price of $15,000 and was sold to Comiskey Holdings.
The second-highest price of $14,000 was achieved by Lot 49, Drensmaine Kilcoy K283 (P), which found its new home with Rockingham Santas.
In a display of generosity, the sale proceeds of Lot 91 and Lot 122 were donated to the Ben Chandler Family Fund, raising $10,000 in support of this cause. A notable mention also goes to Terry Spackman from Spackman Pastoral Co who generously donated a trailer load (29.5T) of oaten hay to be auctioned, which raised $17,500 for the worth cause.
