Killarney Park

Stud 2177 – Pam’s father introduced Santa Gertrudis bulls into a Shorthorn herd in the late 70’s.
He experimented with crossbreeding in the 80’s before returning to straight Santa’s and has
remained that way since. Pam and her husband, Peter, took over the running of “Killarney Park” in
2009, which included a very good quality herd of Santa cows. Then in 2016 they made the
decision to purchase only “S” bulls to continue the improvement of their cattle. This led to a
further decision in 2021 to start a classification process for their cows. The classier arrived in
October 2021, branded 50 maiden heifers “S Bar” and these will be the foundation of their stud
herd.
