In late July, we launched a new television commercial across Seven Prime, and Imparja Television, delivering near-national regional coverage.
For the first time, we trialled a targeted digital campaign during the AFL finals via the 7+ streaming service in selected markets. This ‘Fit for Australia‘ campaign focused on a key demographic: males aged 25–40 working outdoors. The results were encouraging, particularly with mobile-served ads, which generated a strong response. A notable portion of the mobile audience clicked through to our website, indicating high engagement and validating the effectiveness of targeted digital advertising in reaching niche markets.
Santa Gertrudis targeted specific demographics across Imparja Television’s vast broadcast footprint, ensuring all paid placements were focused on proven high-performing programs relevant to the livestock industry.
Between August and October 2025, the new TV commercials aired within news and sports-related telecasts, maintaining a strong weekly presence in Nine National News and establishing a foothold throughout the latter half of the 2025 NRL season.
The campaign strategically launched during the Game 3 Decider of the 2025 State of Origin, leveraging the massive audience numbers as a catapult for brand exposure.
From there, Santa Gertrudis maintained visibility across all matches leading into the 2025 NRL Finals, where the brand became a formal TV sponsor, adding further momentum as audience numbers continued to grow toward the NRL Grand Final (Broncos vs Storm) — the most-watched sporting event of the year.
As part of the sponsorship, Santa Gertrudis received priority placement within each match and featured within the Sponsorship Billboard that aired during the opening and closing of each telecast, alongside major national brands such as Lion (XXXX), McDonald’s, and Kia.
