Santa Express April 2025

This issue highlights the return of Santa Gertrudis as the feature breed at the Sydney Show after 23 years, with excitement building around the event’s latest “Hot Santa” pie, named “Pie of the Show.” The RJ Kleberg Scholarship is being revamped, with more details to be announced soon. The inaugural Santa Gertrudis Feedlot Trial has commenced, featuring 148 head of cattle. Additionally, the sales season is off to a strong start, marking a successful period for the breed.
