Murray Smith and Susan Michell celebrated a significant milestone at the Doorabeeba Online Bull Sale, achieving a 100 per cent clearance for the first time in six years of conducting online sales.
All 25 Santa Gertrudis bulls offered by the Wee Waa, NSW stud sold to average $9640 and gross $241,000.
The sale topped at $22,000 for Lot 11, purchased by Liz Allen, Forest Park Santas, Blackall.
Second-top honours were shared at $17,000. Lot 6 sold to Ken Sorensen, Landsborough Santas, Winton, while Lot 12 was purchased by Dick and Jocelyn Allen, Dalco Pastoral Co, Wallumbilla.
The sale attracted support from both repeat and new clients, with bulls heading to operations across Winton, Roma, Talwood and St George in Queensland, as well as Rowena, Tambar Springs and Dubbo in New South Wales.
The online sale was conducted in conjunction with TopX Roma and AuctionsPlus.
