Results - 2025 Rosevale Santa Gertrudis Sale, Jandowae QLD

The annual on-property sale at Jandowae, Qld hosted by David and Sonya Greenup, delivered a standout result for Rosevale Santa Gertrudis bulls, grossing an impressive $2,623,000.

With a 99% clearance rate of 163 bulls catalogued, the sale averaged $17,160 per head, peaking at $60,000.

The sale topper, Lot 10 – Rosevale Vanuatu (PS), a 22-month-old son of Gyranda Newton N202 (PP) from a proven Rosevale dam, was snapped up by Andrew and Fiona Bassingthwaighte, Yarrawonga Cattle Co for $60,000.

The second top, Lot 3 – Rosevale Vagabond V162 (PP), a 24-month-old son of Rosevale Spartacus S642 (PP), fetched $55,000, purchased by Peter and Nikki Mahony, Gyranda Santa Gertrudis Stud.

The same money was paid by Maurie and Margaret Barlow, Yarrabee Santa Gertrudis Stud, Goovigen for lot 26, Rosevale Vauxhall V688 (PS), a son of Rosevale Hastings H42 (P).

Volume Buyers:

✅Rob Caskey, Morven (last year’s top volume buyer) secured 11 bulls, averaging $9454.
✅Home Creek Pastoral, Barcaldine took home 9 bulls, averaging $14,888.
✅Ian Walker, Strathmore Santa Gertrudis Stud invested $111,500 for 4 bulls, averaging $27,875.
