The Annual Canowindra Sale was held on Wednesday, September 27.

A total of 38 bulls were offered for sale, with 22 bulls successfully finding new homes. The average sale price per bull was $10,818, with a total gross amount of $238,000.

Lot 3, Canowindra Warrigal W58 (P), was one of three top-priced bulls, achieving a sale price of $24,000. It found its new home with CA&CC Moller at Recruit Santa Gertrudis.

Joining the top price category were Lot 9, Canowindra Whiskey W56 (PP), purchased by MC & BJ Paine, and Lot 18, Canowindra Winchester W79 (PS), secured by Daandine Pastoral, both selling for $24,000.

The second-highest price of $20,000 was achieved by Lot 6, Canowindra Watchman W80 (P), which was acquired by Cardona Santa Gertrudis Stud.

The presence of 31 bidders ringside at the Annual Canowindra Sale contributed to the competitive atmosphere.
