Zander Pastoral

Stud 2219 – Zander Pastoral was established in 2024 in the Upper Hunter Valley, situated on a small 40-acre rural block with picturesque views over the Yarrawa valley. Our family-owned operation has invested heavily to rebuild the property and implement the latest technology and industry best practice. It started with the purchase of eleven PTIC cows from the Rockingham Santa Gertrudis Annual sale.

Our breeding programme aims to build on traditional Santa Gertrudis attributes by sourcing high quality Stud stock to produce fertile, docile animals with an impressive growth rate. We handle our stock as much as possible without machines for docility.

Although only small in numbers, our aim is to produce animals that are true to type and specifications of the Santa Gertrudis Breed with an easy-going temperament while doing well under all paddock conditions.
