Moongana

Stud 779 – Moongana Santa Gertrudis Stud was first established in 1971 at Brooweena. First bull purchased was from Tallierand Pastoral Company, Longreach at the Annual Rockhampton Santa Sale. While at Brooweena we sold our bulls annually through the Rockhampton Santa Sale and Big S Sale at Argyle, Kingsthorp, where we sold bulls to a top of $20,500.

In 2003 we relocated to Bethlee, Drillham and proceeded to sell our bulls annually at Springsure selling to a top of $50,000 for Moongana Lumber Jack.

We concentrate on maintaining easy doing cattle with bone, breed character and good temperament.
